Hong Kong to Busan

by | Apr 19, 2026

In Hong Kong, we had another World Cruise Gala, it was again, over the top. Great food and entertainment. It was held in the Hong Kong Palace Museum. They opened just for us that night. Even though we could see it from our ship, it was a 30-minute bus ride.

This was an appetizer.

Every cabin got a fan that this man wrote on. We have met a Chinese woman on the world cruise, and she translated this into Peace.

This was the dinner menu, they brought out each of these so, yes, it was a 14 course meal. Every one of them were great. We did skip the desert though.

the museum.

It rained a lot in Hong Kong and sometimes poured, like this, this is the same image of the museum, but it is not visible. when it was pouring, the buildings disappeared.

Kim found a delicious rice bowl, she also brought shrimp dumplings back to the ship.

A unique idea for those containers that are just sitting in your back yard.

Rules to live by….

Unique rental boats. Same rules apply.

I’m afraid I would fall.

All of the trees had orchids on them, added by man, not natural.

Kim went on a glass bottom boat ride and to a textile manufacturer.

She also found a shrine in a cave.

Another tour to carved buda’s in a mountain.

And she caught a cat fishing. Not a catfish.

This could be anywhere on the Oregon Coast.

We traveled through the Tori Shima straight at night.

Yes, things are really messed up, I am having huge problems transferring my photos.

More later, I hope……..

You ate Pharaoh? Peace is always welcomed.
    Great meal!
Best use of containers I ever saw. We did know a family living in one. They plumed and wired it!
That’s western Washington rain but we need it here. We are getting less than 8” a year, almost a desert!
Love any coastline, especially Oregon’s. TY for the map of your stops , what a trip and no drugs needed!

Do not riding by one hand! Crazy Chinese interpretation. I once assembled a fountain with translated I instructions, I never laughed so
    hard, but it worked!
    Loved car boats! Neat idea.
The fish ladder stairs are very cool. You can’t fall in water, you dive!
The orchids are growing as they naturally do, as parasites on plants. France is full of Paris sites!
Iranians love glass bottom boats so they can see their Navy!

Buddhists have peaceful teachings but kill Muslims who return the favor. Muslims are told 119 times in the last 1/4 of the Koran to kill infidels, defined as someone who doesn’t believe as you do! Really! Therefore when protesters of the extreme religious government take to the streets they shoot them! Over 40,000 now. Now that’s good government. . . NOT!

Thanks for the pics, very nice way to see what you see.
